Melissa Schafer

Melissa has worked as a professional fiduciary since the year 2000. Her work started in property management with the securing and administration of tangible assets for one of the largest fiduciary services agencies in the State of Washington. She developed systems and procedures for documenting and tracking of assets, insurance, and special issues. Her attention to detail allowed her to move into complex property administration and then advanced into a Senior Manager position at a trust company where she managed staff and compliance issues for adherence to court directives and company policies.  She believes that the best fiduciaries are highly organized and efficient with their time, and client resources.  Melissa is passionate about her work at Summit and is dedicated to applying her 20+ years of experience to each and every client of Summit.
